I thought I loved working but here are two things that are starting to make me itch:
- After spending a few weeks developing and completing the script that would ultimately let me do my job, the company hired someone else to make it instead. I’ve wasted my time. What ticks me off is that I worked for a few weeks nonstop making these scripts for free, and this guy got paid for this program.
- So after all this, the new program that this other guy developed isn’t quite fixed, and I don’t know how to fix it. Even though he is in the process of fixing it, I have periods of time where I’m twiddling my thumbs. I don’t earn money twiddling my thumbs because I get paid by how much I’ve finished.
So in a nutshell, I’ve worked my ass off and have been paid less than a dollar an hour so far at work. They don’t appreciate me. I’ve looked into other forms of revenue today and have quickly gotten myself a temporary consulting job at Tech that will hopefully pay off. I start my second job next week.
To be fair, I will be using next week at my regular job to judge if I can actually make any money or if the company is just dicking around. If no money, then I quit. I’ve proven to myself that I can get a job very quickly.

Well there you go, Amanda. You’ve improved my life already by telling me about this fantastic yo yo that you found at Kroger. I went ahead and bought it too off of ebay.
Who wants a piece of this, huh? huh? That’s right I have the toughest toy on wheels. Don’t mess with this.

I misunderstood Jeff: He’s actually trying out for the radio station. But still I think that you should be getting ready for him. Based on what the other DJ sounded like when I was listening, he’s a lot better than the rest. Stay tuned for more information about Jeff on the radio.

- Install this media player (winamp). This is a link to the full version, and you must install the full version for this to work.
- Right click on the menu where it says Winamp (or otherwise get to the winamp menu)
- Click play, click URL

I forgot how we got around to talking about this, but Eric, Lizzie, Amanda and I started talking about what to do if you are stepping in dog poo. Or actually, if you are in a crazy college dorm and find your bare foot in people poo.
I believe these were the steps approximately:
- Hose off your foot
- Start hopping on your clean foot
- Create some kind of Lysol-water mixture
- Use the mixture by either:
- Scrubbing your foot down or
- Putting the mixture in a galosh and wearing it on that foot all day

I think that WordPress, while it was a good piece of software, has an even better version out, 2.0, which is pretty keen. Well actually it looks the same from everyone else’s point of view, but it looks pretty good from the authoring side of things. Me likey.

Thank you everyone for a very nice birthday week.
We’ve done dinners, poker night, mommy’s cooking dinner… and I’ll probably end it up with a walk in the park by day and barhopping by night.
Very awesome presents that I’ve gotten this year:
- Steering wheel cover
- LCD screen
- Awesome party clothes
- A trip to the aquarium
- A Ku dinner
- A Flask with tiny cups and a funnel
- The closest thing to a bidet that was affordable (I was advised to return it anyway)
Man I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed my presents so much. Thank you so much guys!

So I’ve gone out to like 3 different places over the last couple of weeks and I gotta say, it’s really fun.
First, I saw Lizzie and Eric get married in Columbia, SC (see pictures)
The following weekend for New Years, I went to Athens to see John and Cady, and I had a really good time.
Lastly, I went to Augusta for a medical school interview. All travels were great but I never feel like writing things out.
So I won’t.

Hello Atlanta,
I am about to give you a tip. In fog, you must use your fog lights. You see, under heavy fog such as last night, your lights are shined out as normal, but the rain droplets reflect the light back to you. This blinds you more than helps you. When using fog lights, you can shine your lights to warn others you are coming, but also you will not blind yourself and others due to the water droplets.
Might I suggest finding the fog lights in your car? I am amazed that I did not see one person using fog lights last night.
Love,
Lee
