I totally love my cousins. I have basically only seen them a few times though. Ryan is 3 and a half, and the indentical twin girls are 1 and a half. Also, my uncle and aunt are totally cool. Anyway, I’ll talk to you about it if I see you. And I should have pictures online soon. In the meantime, you can check out the pics from last time I went with Rebecca in December.
Today I got through another day of class, and I thought I didn’t understand jack. Which I didn’t.
However, my professor and TA were kind enough to give me some office hours to explain things. They were wonderfu, and I’m sure I’m on the track to understanding.
On the webmaster-Lee side of things, I registered oralappliancetherapy.com for my mom, and soon I’ll have a good site set up for her. This’ll be fun, right mom?

I dreamt that when I saw Jeff again from college, he turned into a college bum. And he was balding. Actually, he looked like me but bald. Well, it was me with my old haircut.

Enough of this.
I’ve given myself until September 1st to fix up my application for medical school to turn in. I’m almost done revising my personal statement, and then I choose schools to finish it.
I’ll be in D.C. until Monday morning y’all.

Stupid case against doctor. Are you surprised that this could happen?
The New Hampshire attorney general is investigating a Rochester doctor because a patient complained that he bluntly told her she needed to lose weight.
Dr. Terry Bennett said that he’s outraged by what he calls a baseless complaint. A patient was apparently insulted when Bennett told her that she was obese and could only get healthier by losing weight.

Misery, as in too much stuff to do.
- Pick up stuff for our trip
- Take a trip to send Jeff to college
- Meet GA Tech buddies before school starts
- Start school on Monday
- Promote weeklyshift to two more stores
Give James his XM radio present
And while I’m happy for Jeff, it’ll be a little quiet around here after he leaves.

Looks like I didn’t make a spot in my old lab this semester. Misery.

I’m going through my old transcript stuff for my third round of medical school applications, and saw how I took 14 classes my freshman year, plus the two classes in the summer. How was I that hard working when I didn’t even like those classes that much? Maybe it’s because I only had one lab at a time that year.
-edit-
Oh yes and also 7 more classes the following fall semester. Jeez I was a hard working person back then.

And now for the news article that made me laugh my ass off. The picture just brings it all together.
Gas Thief Escapes on Tricycle

August 16, 2005—Speeding from the scene of the crime, a Chinese boy tows a floating plastic bag of stolen natural gas last week. Flouting a government ban, farmers around the central Chinese town of Pucheng frequently filch gas from the local oil field.
Hmm what else happened on August 16? Oh yeah, James’s birthday! James, I’m coming with your present on a tricycle. It might take long, but I’m coming!

Anyone want a dollar off a haircut, seeing as though I don’t need one right now?

The whole idea of being with Charlize Therone has gone out the window. All hope is lost!

So the night after my haircut, I was out with some friends and some new people, and for whatever reason, I was passing around my driver’s license. First comment out of the new guy’s mouth: “wow you must have been some hippy.”
Yeah that’s right. Only hours ago, I was hugging trees and baking brownies. Good thing I cleaned up for you.
Weeklyshift has been given a first look by a couple of people needing schedules, and who knows, we might be in business after I fix up some things after this week. The things that I’ve been adding into the system are looking pretty good so far, and it’s caused me to have to learn some object oriented programming (finally, Lee!).
Jeff’s moving out on the 19th for Virginia Tech, James starts his new job on the 20th, and I start school again on the 22nd. John’s already living in Athens with Cady. Eric and Lizzie are getting married in December. Kajal got a new job. Shaya is working her ass off in medical school. Pearl’s going to Columbia at the end of the month. We’re all moving along nicely.

Just so you guys aren’t surprised, I got a haircut. It’s pretty short. Not a goomba anymore. I think I look more like Toby Mcguire on Pleasantville. I feel like a hamburger boy.
Not that it matters, because I look better than Toby.

Just to let the rest of you know, I didn’t get into medical school.
Thus, my plans for this year are to finish my masters and also to promote weeklyshift. I think I can do that over the course of the year.
Also, maybe I can try for an internship in the spring.

So since getting Weeklyshift up to my perfection (although there are some things I still want to implement), I have contacted a store and will be giving them a tour of it soon. I hope it all goes well and it’s what they want. I’m not a cuthroat businessman and so it just has to be a perfect site… I also need to grab some more relevant ads so that I can actually make some money from it. Google might not be doing it for me. If all goes well with the store, then I have another store in mind that I will ask to look at it for me after I give them a tour.
I saw that James got some walkie talkies for cheap and so I bought one off of him haha. We can talk to each other from our houses now without calling. So far it is something of a novelty, just like the webcams. But I think that also like the webcams, it will come to be something useful.
John’s having a get together at his new place in Athens, so I’ll be out there this weekend. Hopefully I’ll get a good outline done for a weeklyshift tour and get back in time to give it this weekend.
It’s gonna be a good weekend.
